POST ACUTE HOSPITALISTS – Lakeridge Gardens

Lakeridge Health is currently inviting applications for full time attending Post Acute Hospitalist Physicians with strong communication and interprofessional skills to join a congenial team in our new Long Term Care facility – Lakeridge Gardens, located in Ajax, directly adjacent to the Ajax-Pickering site of Lakeridge Health. 

Physicians enjoy flexible scheduling and extensive allied health support, including Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Recreational Therapy services. The successful applicant must have previous experience and knowledge in Geriatric, Palliative and Family Medicine.  Remuneration is fee-for-service through OHIP and Ministry of Health Long Term Care.

You will have teaching opportunities through the Lakeridge Health partnership with Queen’s University.

Lakeridge Health offers many administrative options for those interested in pursuing physician leadership positions.

The candidate will have certification in Family Medicine and significant experience appropriate to Geriatric and Palliative Care Medicine and must hold an independent practice licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.
