ADDICTION MEDICINE PHYSICIANS

Lakeridge Health is one of Ontario’s largest providers of Mental Health and Substance Use services and is currently inviting applications for part-time and full-time Addiction Medicine Physicians to join our team of patient-focused professionals in building a well-integrated system of care in the fast-growing Durham Region. Our program includes Residential Withdrawal Management Services, a Rapid Access Addictions Medicine Clinic, Women’s Residential Treatment Program as well as many other community addictions services and resources. In-hospital addictions services are complemented by Hospital to Home and Opiate Navigator staff.

The candidate will join a vibrant and motivated group, including psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, addictions counsellors, mental health and addictions nurses, social workers, and an excellent management and support staff.   

Following the recent integration with Durham Mental Health Services, and the implementation of the Epic Clinical Information System platform - providing an integrated health record - Lakeridge Health is at an important step in providing the highest quality of care for patients in the Durham Region.

Lakeridge Health is seeking candidates at all career levels with strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to interprofessional teamwork and collaboration.

The candidate must hold certification in Psychiatry or Medicine with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or certification in Family Medicine with the College of Family Physicians of Canada and must hold an independent practice licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.
