Critical Care Services Return to Bowmanville Hospital Intensive Care Unit

Effective September 7, 2022, inpatient critical care services will be returning to the Bowmanville Hospital Intensive Care Unit (ICU) following a temporary relocation to the Ajax Pickering and Oshawa Hospitals.

We recognize the impact this situation has had on our staff, patients, and their families. We are grateful to the many staff and physicians who worked tirelessly to ensure we could safely return these services as soon as possible.

Patient safety and supporting the needs of our communities and team members remain our top priorities.
