Student and International Trainee Volunteer Opportunities
The Research Department at Lakeridge Health offers a limited number of volunteer opportunities for students and International Medical Graduates (IMGs) seeking Canadian hospital experience. These roles are coordinated by our Clinical Trials Team and include:
-
Regulatory and department-specific onboarding
-
Integration into study-specific tasks and team activities
-
Opportunities to observe physician researchers, where appropriate
Please note: IMGs are responsible for ensuring they meet any requirements necessary to participate in volunteer activities within a hospital setting.
All research volunteer positions must be filled through the Lakeridge Health Volunteer Program. Priority is given to current hospital volunteers, and open opportunities are posted through the program. For more information, please contact: volunteer@lh.ca
Students seeking collaboration on a specific research project or thesis should first connect with their academic faculty, then email ResearchLeaders@lh.ca with study details and a formal request.
