As work continues in support of the Bowmanville Hospital Redevelopment, we would like to keep residents informed that construction of the temporary staff parking lot off Galbraith Court is now expected to be completed by the end of November.
While most work will continue to take place on weekdays, some additional weekend work may be required, in accordance with applicable municipal bylaws. Nearby residents may experience dust, construction noise, and vibration while the work is underway.
We recognize that construction activity can be disruptive and appreciate the patience of our neighbours as this work progresses. Lakeridge Health and its project partners will continue to monitor activity and impacts on the surrounding community.
We will also keep our online construction notices up to date with information about upcoming work and any changes that may affect nearby residents. For the latest updates, visit lh.ca/bowmanville .

Where: King Street, St. George Street, and Queen Street
When: Various dates listed below:
- St. George Street – Thurs, Oct 29, 2026 at 10:00 p.m. to Fri, Oct 30, 2026 at 4:00 a.m.

Traffic Impacts: Impacted streets will be reduced to one lane while work is underway. A Traffic Control officer will be on-site for the duration of the work.
Hospital access: Bowmanville Hospital will remain fully open throughout the work.
When your water is reinstated, it is important to turn on a cold water tap only and let it run for approximately five minutes. This will allow any sediment to be cleared that might have accumulated in your water service. This will also prevent any sediment from entering the hot water system.
Please note that the water supply may be reinstated before the time mentioned above. MGI Corp staff will notify you if any unforeseen circumstances occur that would require rescheduling.
We realize construction can be disruptive, particularly for those who live nearby. We are committed to being good neighbours and will work to minimize noise, traffic impacts, and other disruptions whenever possible. Thank you for your patience as we move this important work forward.
If you have any further question regarding this matter, or encounter any water related problems during this period please contact the following staff member from MGI Corp:
