Fracture Care

 

If you have broken a bone, injured a limb or recently had bone or joint surgery, you may be seen by an orthopedic surgeon or a member of our health-care team in the Fracture Clinic.

The Fracture Clinic provides services such as: casting, splinting, removal of stitches following surgery, x-rays, patient education, and injections.

We encourage all patients who visit the Fracture Clinic to sign up for MyChart. Please visit our MyChart page for more information.

Your appointment to the Fracture Clinic is made through a referral from one of the following:

  • The Emergency Department
  • An urgent care clinic
  • Family doctor
  • Post-operatively by your surgeon

Finding the Fracture Clinic

To visit the Ajax Pickering Hospital Fracture Clinic, enter through the West Entrance, turn left at the Fracture Clinic Sign.

To visit the Oshawa Hospital Fracture Clinic, from the main lobby, turn right into the corridor leading to N-Wing. Continue down the hallway to the Fracture Clinic on your right-hand side.
