Our Regional Nephrology Program delivers seamless support – from education and counselling to in-centre and home dialysis – and is recognized as one of Ontario’s top-performing home dialysis programs.

Did you know that 60% of our bodies are made up of water? Our kidneys are tasked with the important role of ensuring our bodies have just the right amount of water to work properly. Kidneys also clean and filter wastes from our blood stream.

Our regional program offers a full range of kidney care in Durham Region. The program follows goals and strategic objectives outlined by the Ontario Renal Network agency to help improve the lives of people at risk of and living with chronic kidney disease. As well, to reduce the burden of chronic kidney disease on individuals.
