Parent and Family Member Services
In order to best support our clients, Pinewood's Family Members Program strives to provide education and support to the family members who have close relationships with someone struggling with substance use concerns.
The service provides assessment and group services. On a case-by-case basis, short term case management may be available. Two people may attend together if they are coming for the same loved one and have the same relationship to the loved one, for example parents of a child who is using substances.
Individual short-term services are also available for a child of a substance using adult (COSA) between the ages of 12-18.
Pinewood Centre's Community Treatment Services provide individual support and group therapy to parents of substance using youth and adult family member's whose loved ones use substances.
