Neurological Rehabilitation & Dysphagia Clinic

Our multidisciplinary Neurological Rehabilitation and Dysphagia teams supports people who have had a new stroke, brain injury or other neurological event to regain as much independence as possible. If you think you would benefit from our services, please ask your doctor if a referral would be right for you.

Our program helps patients:

  • Re-learn daily activities such as eating and, dressing

  • Manage swallowing difficulties

  • Improve memory and thinking skills

  • Improve walking and balancing

  • Improve communication skills by working on your speaking, listening, reading and/or writing

  • Teach you about your health

  • Link you with other services in the community and help you cope with your day-to-day life after a neurological injury.

Each clinical service offers individualized assessments, therapy and health teaching. How often you attend therapy appointments and how long you are in the program will be determined by you and your therapists.

We offer in-person, virtual and telephone visits as appropriate.
