Lakeridge Gardens is a state-of-the-art long-term care home located next to Lakeridge Health’s Ajax Pickering Hospital. Serving the Durham Region, the 320-bed home opened in the spring of 2022.

Visits by family, friends, and essential partners-in-care play an important role in enhancing the quality of life and emotional well-being of our residents.
Visitors are welcome to visit at any time mutually agreed upon by the resident. Visiting may be restricted to help prevent the spread of infection.
There are a limited number of parking spots designated for visitors at the front of Lakeridge Gardens. Residents at Lakeridge Gardens receive a parking pass for visitors use.
Additional parking is available in the garage adjacent to Lakeridge Gardens and Ajax Pickering Hospital.
Volunteering is an exciting opportunity to join an exceptional group of individuals with a shared desire to contribute to the health care of our community. For more information on how to get involved visit the Volunteer Resources page.
Ontario Health atHome coordinates long-term care placement within the Province of Ontario. The placement process includes a multi-part assessment, including an assessment by a Care Coordinator, to ensure there is an accurate record of medical history, and to help determine eligibility for long-term care.

All compliments, concerns, and compliments are welcomed and may be received from a known or anonymous source. Please note for compliments to be shared with staff, your information will be requested.
Any comments or complaints will be investigated, and solutions will be determined to ensure the issue is resolved and improvements are put in place to prevent future occurrences, when possible. We adhere to all Ministry of Long-Term Care policies related to complaints.
